Today’s latest hearing aids demand very little in the way of maintenance and upkeep from the patient. However, all hearing aids regardless of style or cost, do require a minimal amount of basic cleaning in order to stay functioning at the highest possible level. Most hearing aids require nothing more than a quick brushing a few times a week, and the occasional replacement filter (wax guard) on the tip of the earpiece (dome or earmold.)

We provide all manufacturers’ wax guards at no cost to our patients, and anyone can readily pick them up from the front counter without an appointment.

Should you have fine motor, or sight issues, and find this task difficult, our front office staff will provide this service for you.

We normally like to have you visit our clinic minimally 2 times annually for general cleanings.
